On Friday, March 27 at 1:00 pm (Pittsburgh time), Pope Francis invites everyone to join him in prayer for God’s help against the coronavirus pandemic as he gives a special Urbi et Orbi blessing. Pope Francis will give the blessing from atop the steps at Saint Peter Basilica in Rome, with no one present in the square. 

A plenary indulgence (or remission of punishment for sins that were already forgiven) is possible for those who participate through media, providing they fulfill the requirements (see below). Modifications allow people to receive Confession and Communion as soon as possible, if they are not available due to coronavirus.
