Blessing of pets - October 4^th is the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi.  The story is that when the people he was attempting to preach to wouldn’t take his message to heart, he went out and preached to the animals.  It has become customary to bless animals on or near his feast day, so next Sunday, October 2, there will be a blessing of pets at 2 PM at both campuses.  Please make sure all pets are appropriately leashed.
