The Seder Meal is a beautiful way to remember the Jewish roots of Christianity and to enter into Holy Week. The Seder Meal is the Jewish remembrance of the Exodus from Egypt. The angel of death passed over the houses of the Jewish people since their wooden doorposts were marked with the blood of the Passover lamb. This is a foreshadowing of Jesus, the new Passover Lamb, who died with His blood on the wooded Cross. This event is represented at every Mass throughout the world. This evening is a beautiful family event to remember the Jewish roots of Christianity and to enter into Holy Week. Join us for the Seder Meal followed by an intimate Mass in the Lourdes Center. Bring a covered dish to share for the potluck dinner and fellowship that follows. Please call or text Suzanne Kromka at (412) 427-4802 with how many people you are expecting to be attending. This helps us with planning purposes-see you there!
